Ellie
Ellie's Family wrote 7/14/09
Well i do want to say one thing Ellie thru all of this has been such a blessing for my dad. He has taken such good care of her
Here are the pics with a little note for each one.
The first ones are her on the way back to dads - 2 pics, going into dads - 2 pics, relaxing with dad 1 pic.
The next one is 2 days later ( relaxing on the couch and 4 days later relaxing with her new dad.
The next is 9 days @ home Relaxing with her new stuffed Sheep
( what else were we supposed to get her, shes a border collie haha)
The next is 10 days @ home relaxing with her new dad
The next 2 --12 days @ home Keeping an eye on dad and napping with dad
The next one -- 16 days @ home Her new stash. She has taken dads slippers for herself so dad has to get another pair. He really did not like those ones any way. Yeah right.
The next 2 are what we did for my dads bday on 04/17/09 . We had a cake made and a shirt made with is new pride and joy. He took the cake to the resaurant we were having his bday party @ to show everyone but no one could cut it or eat it. What a proud new dad.
The next 3 are wth her new bandana i had made for her. She is sitting inside the fence watching my dad mow on the riding mower. She goes crazy and runs up and down the fence line when he moves and when he stops so does she.
We all call my dad grandpa because of my nephew . He is 3 and calls my dad grandpa if we call him dad we are corrected by the 3 yr old " He is GRANDPA.. So we say Ellie is grandpas dog... so i got her bandanas with I LOVE MY GRANDPA.
Last one she is finally with her grandpa outside the fence. This is the greatest moment for both of them. He is able to let her out of the fence and she wont run away. That was his biggest fear. I do not think she would ever leave her Grandpa now. Thank you for letting my dad have her. Good choice.!!!!!!!!
Ellie is in good hands. :) I just hope dad is too.
